While clearing my grandmother’s house, it became apparent that she hoarded outdated pots and vases, all filled to the brim with flowers from various children and grandchildren. I never gave much attention to them growing up, but I now see their value and beauty.

In tribute, I’ve decided to make my own hand-built pots with a contemporary twist. Like my grandmother’s ceramics, I want people to use my creations without considering their meaning.
